I do not see the top menubar, I do nto see the server login process. The session attempts to open and then it freezes and then it dissapears/treminates. As per article CTX136410, Receiver for Windows 4.4 and later no longer require the separate Clean-Up Utility before installing or upgrading over a previously installed version of Receiver for Windows. "Note: If you plan to install a currently supported version of Receiver for Windows on the system (version 4.4 or later) then there is no need to perform these manual steps or run the clean-up utility. I will try the clean up utility that you mentioned and attempt a re-installation.Įven thought the web site states it is not necessary: I then tried the latest version 14.12 and that still did not work. I have tried to un-ionstall and re-install but, that did not work. The other laptops that work also have version 14.4.
Equally important, this problem happens when logged in to the NetScaler Gateway while using different internet browsers (Chrome, internet explorer, Edge) but, it is laptop specific. I have seen that before and the fix was to uninstall receiver and to re-install it but that did not work in this case. ica session launches then it closes after a couple of seconds. And if I login as a different user on my 'rouge' laptop (test user) I have the same problem hence it appears that the proble is specific to the laptop.
If I use other computers or laptops the same 2012 R2 icon comes up and works well. The other 2 icons are opening up just fine on the same laptop. Usually the 2012 R2 icon is the only one that UI use but, I have not used it in a while and now it is just not opening for me.
